Florence wasn’t just a place I studied — it was where I found my vision and created a second home. Walking through the narrow streets, past sunlit piazzas and terracotta rooftops, I didn’t just fall in love with Italy — I fell in love with beauty as a lifestyle. The kind of beauty that is seen in a slow tuscan sunset, or the beauty in soft white sheets being hung to dry on laundry lines or the way dew trickles off an aperol spritz in the summer sun. While studying at Florence University of the Arts and then a masters at Istituto Marangoni, I wasn’t just learning photography or styling — I was absorbing a way of seeing the world a bit differently than I had before. A way of living that you only find when you leave everthing you once knew. I learned to appreciate the quiet moments of luxury, the intentionality behind bold colors and textures, the art of slowing down. I learned that I don’t have to mold into the “millenial grey” that is so popular here in the US, but to find my own unique style. The Italian style — vibrant, artistic, and handmade — still shapes everything I create through Majolica Media. Whether I’m capturing a boutique hotel on the Amalfi Coast or styling a brand shoot in Boston, Italy lives in the details: natural light, timeless tones, and the feeling of warmth and story in every frame.

Italy gave me more than education — it gave me identity. And that identity fuels every project I touch.

Grazie, Firenze. You’ll always be the beginning of everything.
